Fall Festival 

We had a contest who could guess the length around the pumpkin with a piece of string they cut and then they measured to see who was the closest. This girl was the winner and she got to take home the pumpkin. :)

Hands are not for hitting

We had a group of individuals come in and explain to our class that "Hands are not for Hitting." They are for exploring, learning, touching, and hugging. Then they read our class and book afterwards we made a poster promise to have helping hands in Mrs. Rogers class.

I changed things around a little bit in my room.

Working Hard.

                          My first gift from a student a Cuban hand made pot and flower made from a napkin.

They love me to take pictures of their hard work during reading centers.

                                We had a Science Lab, where we learned to sort and classify.

First really bad day for a certain someone in my class... he threw a major temper tantrum.

                Writing Center, and he is modeling the list of sight words I wanted them to practice.

Hmmm... not quite what I wanted. 

My whole class... we lost some and gained some more students.
